1. Overview
World Cup 2026 Fixture ("the App") is operated by Rooftop ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the App, how it is used, and your choices regarding that information.
The App does not require account creation or login. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any information that directly identifies you.
2. Information Collected
Firebase Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) to understand how users interact with the App. Firebase Analytics automatically collects:
- App usage events (screen views, navigation patterns, feature interactions)
- Session duration and frequency
- Device type, operating system version, and language settings
- A Firebase-generated App Instance ID (a pseudonymous identifier)
This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
Firebase Crashlytics
We use Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) to detect and diagnose app crashes. When a crash occurs, Crashlytics collects:
- Crash logs and stack traces
- Device model, OS version, available memory, disk space, and battery state at the time of the crash
- App version and the sequence of events leading to the crash
Crash data is used exclusively to identify and fix technical issues.
Google AdMob
We use Google AdMob (Google LLC) to display advertisements within the App. AdMob may collect:
- Android Advertising ID (GAID) — a resettable device identifier
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
- Device information used for ad targeting and frequency capping
AdMob may share this data with Google's advertising partners to serve personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time (see Section 6).
3. How We Use This Information
- App improvement: Analytics data helps us understand which features are used and how to improve the experience.
- Stability: Crash data helps us identify and fix bugs quickly.
- Advertising: AdMob data enables the display of relevant advertisements that allow us to offer the App for free.
We do not sell your data. We do not use any collected data for purposes beyond those listed above.
4. Third-Party Services
The following third-party services process data on our behalf. Their privacy policies govern how they handle your information:

5. Data Retention
We do not store any user data on our own servers beyond what is automatically retained by Firebase and Google AdMob under their respective data retention policies.
The App itself stores only your match reminder preferences locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is deleted automatically when you uninstall the App.
6. Your Rights and Choices
Opt out of personalized ads:
On your Android device, go to Settings → Google → Ads and enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization", or reset your Advertising ID. AdMob will then serve non-personalized ads only.
Reset or delete your Advertising ID:
On Android 12 and above, you can delete your Advertising ID entirely via Settings → Privacy → Ads. This prevents interest-based ad targeting across all apps on your device.
Uninstall the App:
Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data (reminder preferences) from your device. Since we do not operate any user accounts or maintain a personal profile for you, uninstalling is sufficient to sever all connection with our services.
Firebase Analytics opt-out:
Google provides an opt-out mechanism for Google Analytics across Google's platforms.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at the address below and we will take steps to address it.
8. Data Security
All data transmitted between the App and third-party services (Firebase, AdMob) is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS/HTTPS protocols. We rely on Google's security infrastructure to protect this data at rest.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
Significant changes (such as the addition of new data collection practices) will be communicated via an in-app notice where feasible.
